One of the many functions in QuickBooks is the QuickBooks export feature. This is a handy function for businesses for a variety of reasons. Some of the reasons are consolidation reporting, creating graphs or charts, improving the reports appearance.
Here are the steps to use the QuickBooks export:
Start QuickBooks. Log in to the administrator account, if there are multiple account choices.
Click on the file menu at the top of the program.
Choose “Export” from the file menu.
Pick the data that you would like to export. Depending on your version of QuickBooks, you can select how you want to format the data that you export
Click “Ok.” At this point, QuickBooks creates the export file and then prompts you to save the file.
Save the export file. Remember where you saved the file so that you can use it later.
